Support the crowdfunding of the Manuel González Prada Anarchist social center of Perú

From CNT we are spreading the crowdfunding of the Manuel González Prada Anarchist social center, in Lima.

The solidarity is not a written word for the anarchists

This was the consign chosen by the members of the Centro Social Anarquista Manuel González Prada from Lima to appeal the international solidarity and to continue their work of divulgation of the anarchist ideas and the practice of antiautioritarian an non-capitalists lifestyles. They demand solidarity in order to make possible a continuity of libertarian popular power.

On September 17, this anarchist space was inaugurated in Lima. The labor union collaborated in the first steps of the project that avoid innumerable economical difficulties, especially hard due to the recent civil and political conflict in Peru.

For those reasons we want to communique that the crowdfunding campaign to collect funds is available on their platform Gofundme. You could enter following this link:

That funds are necessary to keep the space and to improve. This space is being used as a meeting point of the still small libertarian movement in Lima.A movement that in the current situation of confrontation between a barely reformist left, victim of its naivety and stupidity (and of its partisan interests) and a coup right wing that is not willing to cede even a minimum of power or its economic privileges. The Centro Social can influence in speeches and revolutionary practices that can change the current inequalities and poverty conditions that exist in the country.

After the arrest of President Castillo, the establishment of the State of Alarm, the mobilization of the army in the streets and, at least, 28 murdered as a result of state repression, a de facto dictatorship has been established reminiscent of the Fujimori era (it is not strange to us that her daughter Keiko is directly involved in the maneuvers of the right and the State). It is more difficult for the comrades to carry out public activities and collect funds. For example, these days the premises of political parties and the Confederation of Peasants have been raided, and economic support is even more necessary for this initiative to be sustained over time.

After the Christmas truce, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, mobilizations, strikes and roadblocks returned to the streets.

For this reason, now more than ever, it is necessary that solidarity does not simply remain in a written word.
